so I was looking for some cool music to listen to. something folky, something singer songerwriter-y, shit like that. Thats what I was in the mood for. so i’m just previewing a bunch of garbage on last.fm which is the shittiest site ever ( I hate those fucking 30 second previews, but I guess in this case it was good so I didn’t have to listen to an entire track of bullshit.) There was some good stuff in between like andrew bird, stone jack jones and some other shit that I can’t remember even though this took place just an hour ago. After a while of browsing around last’fm recommends connor oberst and bright eyes. Now in High school a girl I knew who I later dated loved that shit and she brought it into class one day and I was like wtf is this and now she’s a hipster. But I figured that that was a while ago and my music taste has definitely changed so I took a listen. The first two songs I checked out were alright and then it turned to shit. So I’m listening to this shitty music and I’m thinking back to high school years and I remember that someone had told me that conor oberst was an asshole, dickhead or douchebag so I googled ” conor oberst is a douchebag.” out of everything that came up, I felt only one was relevant so I checked it out. It was pretty funny but it left me hanging. I wanted more confirmation for whatever fucking reason, that mr.oberst was truly an asshole. (This is probably why I should’t have internet) So I google “conor oberst is an asshole” and your tumblr shows up. I read. I enjoy it thoroughly. Continued reading everything and now I’m following.
